It’s always an adventure photographing my kids or my nephews. When the kids know the photographer, they’re so much more comfortable to be very silly and all over the place. But, I love doing it because they’re such special little guys.

You might be thinking to yourself, “If these are Leah’s prego pictures, why isn’t she posting more of herself?” That’s easy. Two reasons: First of all, how awkward to post pictures of just yourself on your own blog! Some people have no problem with it, and I don’t have a problem with them doing it either. But, when it comes to me, I think it’s awkward. Second, who wouldn’t want to stare at my son’s face! Just look at him. What a cutie. (Thanks again, Kim Vis, for awesome pictures!)

This first picture was toward the end of our photo marathon. He was definitely at the end of his sweet rope. We got one cute sad face followed by probably last smile we could squeeze out of him.

I’ve been taking a baby-break from photo shoots for a couple weeks, so I thought I’d put up a couple fun ones from my prego family pictures. Wow, I can’t believe my belly was that big. I was convinced I was going to have a 10 lb. baby! Thanks again to Rob’s talented sister, Kim Vis, for taking our pictures.

You all know her well. She’s been to the last 40 weeks worth of photo shoots and weddings. She was responsible for the lovely big belly, and now she’s in my arms. Let me introduce to you our precious baby daughter, Roni Victoria. Her name means “My song, my joy, my victory,” and we pray that over her life. She was born at 2:29 am on April 17 - 8 lbs. 3 oz. 20.5 in. Today she’s 8 days old, and we love her so much already. With her in these photos are her proud big brother, Abel, and me, the adoring mommy.

Yes, this family is as sweet and charming as they appear!
